Blueberry Picking Homeschool Field Trip
Do you love blueberries? We love blueberries! Come pick blueberries with us on July 6th and bake a blueberry masterpiece! Please note that there are two types of tickets for this event: one for a single child and one for multiple children. Adult chaperones are free.

About the Event
This is an invitation to Home Schooling families to focus on blueberries on July 6th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Carteret Local Food Network wants to meet you at Morris Blueberry Farm at 1360 US-17 in New Bern at 9:00 AM. Then we want you to pick all of the berries you can until 11:00 AM. We'll stop for a picnic lunch in the field and questions and then head to St. James United Methodist Church at 1007 Orange Street in Newport at noon. Then we'll create a blueberry masterpiece and prep leftover berries for freezing or preserving at your house.
All events will end by 3:00 PM. We anticipate that you will have baked blueberry goods and leftover blueberries to carry home with you.
Please pack your own lunch to bring with you to the farm. Lunch will not be provided. Carteret Local Food Network will be paying for all berries picked at Morris Blueberry Farm. Adult chaperones are admitted free and are required with children's ticket purchase.
