Sushi & Ceviche Fundraising Event

On March 7, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm, Chef Caroline of Carteret Local Food Network (CLFN) will be hosting a sushi roll and shrimp ceviche-making class at MacLanes in Morehead City, NC. The class is a fundraiser to support CLFN's Mobile Market, which seeks to provide low-income, elderly, and diverse communities in Carteret County with access to healthier food options.

During the class, Chef Caroline will teach attendees how to make various sushi rolls and shrimp ceviche. Wine will also be served, making for an enjoyable and educational evening for all who attend.

CLFN's mission is to connect local farmers with the community through various initiatives, including the Mobile Market, Farm Share Subscriptions, and Farm-To-Table dinners. By attending this fundraiser, attendees will be supporting the Mobile Market's efforts to educate and provide healthier food options to underserved communities in Carteret County.

The cost of the fundraiser is $40 per person, which will go towards supporting the Mobile Market. Seats are limited, so attendees are encouraged to RSVP by March 4th and bring a friend to join in the fun, food, and wine while supporting the community.
