Join us at Weeks Farm for our second annual Sweet Carolina Honey Showcase!
Enjoy small nibbles, sweet treats, and sample mead (honey wine) from a local vineyard hobbyist
Purchase honey beer brewed by Shortway Brewery.
Nine local chefs will compete for prizes in several menu categories featuring honey from Triple S Bee Farm.
Dr. Dave Tarpy, NCSU Professor and Extension Specialist with Apiary Center will be our Keynote speaker.
Also, a special presentation by Morehead City native conservation scientist and founder of Darwin's Bee Dogs, Jacqueline Staab, featuring her renowned dogs trained to locate bees and aid in the conservation of local bee populations.
